The Custom Lambertones HSS for Strat®

The Custom Lambertones HSS is the result of a design collaboration between Lambertones Pickups, and ObsidianWire, with a TUNABLE SPLIT COIL control for your humbucker, and Obsidians new range of super sturdy, 'Firm Grip' IGNEOS™ tone and volume controls.

TUNABLE ESC (COIL SPLIT) 

Turn your humbuckers in to single coils, and back again. To add true versatility to your guitar we build in TUNABLE SC, to split your humbucker to a single-coil for lower output, more dynamic tones.

For this harness Kurtis suggested we incorporate a resistor in series to ground on the push pull pot which gives a much warmer, fuller single coil sound than can be achieved with a standard split coil setup. 

We have taken this further by turning the idea in to a Coil Split 'Voice' control, which allows you to fine tune the amount of signal that is sent to ground.

• 'QUIET' = FULL SPLIT (TRADITIONAL COIL SPLIT)
• 'LOUD = SEMI SPLIT (LAMBERTONES SPLIT FOR FULLER SPLIT COIL)

TUNABLE SC is built in to your volume controls using push/pull pots, so no extra mods are required to your guitar.

- Requires split coil compatible humbuckers

CRYSTAL CLEAR TONE (Treble Bleed)

Retain clarity at lower volumes. To make your tone crystal clear at lower volumes we include an Obsidian® Custom spec treble bleed mod. This prevents tone 'muddiness' at low volumes by allowing high frequencies to pass along a separate path to your amp, rather than being stopped short by the increasing resistance at the volume control.

The Tone Controls

Control 1: Master Volume
Control 2: Tone Control 1 (Neck & Middle Pickups) 250k to balance single coils
Control 3: Tone Control 2 (Bridge Pickup) 500k for a fuller humbucker

The Push/Pull Switch (Tone Control 2)

Tone control 2 is a dedicated coil split control for the humbucker. Use the Coil Split 'Voice' control to set the desired split level.
