I’ve been building/wiring custom/concept guitars for years and this product is a game changer for me. In my opinion, the concept, design, execution, and functionality of this product infinitley surpasses any/all other pre-loaded control solutions.
At first glance, it appeared a bit pricey. But when I considered the cost of combining the highest-quality components with the time it takes me to create/wire something like this, I see it as a VERY clear value.
From matched CTS pots, cold-war era caps, treble-bleed filter, to a genious plug-and-play termional that allows for easy alterations, this product rocks!
It is also so well designed and elegant, with such a small footprint, that it leaves ample room for my “messy” wiring. :)
This product is awesome. Exceeded expectations. It is a direct drop-in replacement, and requires no soldering at all. All the wires from the pickups and jack pop right into the connector module very easily. The fact that DIP switches allow you to easily flip between 50s and 60s wiring is a great bonus, as well as the coil splits. HIGHLY recommend. Be aware this uses 500k pots, while many Gibsons now come with 300k. The result was to brighten up the guitar quite a lot. In my case that's a good thing!

2nd harness purchase
Prepared the electronics cavity with a bit of a shave in some spots with a Dremel.
Didn't really take notice of install time as I focused more on an overall secure install, probs an hour with clean up.
Installed a pair of Duncan phat cat p90s also.
Purchased on a Thursday, install complete with git fully functional by Tuesday evening in Australia.
